La Tempesta in Vienna
Male vocal quartet La Tempesta will perform together with Pandolfis Consort during a concert at the Deutschordenskirche, 4 December 2011 at 19.00. Biblical scenes in Warsaw
The ensemble La Tempesta will perform masterpieces of 17-th century oratorio music during the concert in the Ofiarowania Pańskiego Church in Warsaw, on May 27th 2012. The programme will contain Historia di Jephte by Giacomo Carissimi, Le Reniement de saint Pierre by Marc Antoine Charpentier and In Guilty Night by Henry Purcell. The main soloists will be Julita Mirosławska (soprano) and Wojciech Parchem (tenor).
Vivaldi Stabat Mater in Katowice
Jakub Burzyński will perform with Historic Orchestra - the first silesian orchestra playing historical instruments. Concert will take place on March 28, 2012 in Mariacki Church in Katowice. Gorczycki in Warsaw
Choir and Baroque Orchestra of The Association of Polish Musicans, which contains also members of La Tempesta, will debiut on March 24th, 2012 at 19.00 (Kosciol Garnizonowy, 13/15 Dluga st.). Concert will present works of Grzegorz Gerwazy Gorczycki, Antonio Vivaldi, and Dietrich Buxtehude. Sopran solo Julita Mirosławska, Conductor Jakub Burzyński.
J.S.Bach solo cantatas at the Warsaw Uniwersity
La Tempesta and countertenor Jakub Burzyński will perform Cantata Vergnügte Ruh BWV 170 and Ich habe genug BWV 82 (version Dutch) within the prestigious cycle "200 Bach's cantatas for the 200th anniversary of the University of Warsaw".
